DJ Starski, a veteran of the Toronto night club scene, has played most of the clubs in and around the GTA. He got his start as a runner-up in the Kool DJ Red Alert/Atlantic Records mix tape contest in 1996. This caught the attention of up and coming promotional company Mass Appeal and worked with them at such clubs as Granite Lounge, Guvernment & X-it
In 2000, Starski left Mass Appeal and landed a residency at the well-known Money Nite Club, where he stayed on and off for five years. He made a name for himself at the legendary parties at Money and then signed on with Sound & Vision Entertainment in 2003, a promotional company that put him on radio.
During his tenure with Sound & Vision, Starski played live to air parties for top radio stations Kiss 92.5 and Flow 93.5 in Toronto at Karma Nightclub and Red Square. After years of hard work, DJ Starski was awarded Soul Choice Record Pool DJ of the Year. Since 2003, he has remained in the mix in the club scene, where he plays out every week.
Currently, DJ Starski has been producing Mash Ups, Remixes and Blends for the world famous Crooklyn Clan. His mixes can be heard in nightclubs and on mix shows around the world. You can check them out at Crooklynclan.net/djstarski.
